Entrepreneur on Fire has literally built his entire, $500,000 per month business from the platform of his crazy popular podcast.

In this episode you’ll learn:

  • How John went from daily podcast listener to daily podcaster with a 7-figure business
  • The added value of using a website with your podcast
  • How taking a leap of faith is the best way to get started
  • The importance of joining groups that can help you define your podcast topic
  • How dealing with the imposter syndrome and facing your self-doubts can make you a better podcaster
  • How to use transparency to build audience trust

When starting out, John hired a mentor, joined a mastermind group, went to conferences and bought courses, but at the end of the day, “if you want to be, DO”.

Great podcast episode Sarah! Reeeeallly helpful to hear how transparent you and John were about the emotions at the beginning of your businesses. I took the idea of the EOFire income report and although I’m showing zero income from my business so far, I publish my results for full transparency. 5 stars!

Glad you enjoyed it, Jeff. We really wouldn’t be authentic or transparent if we weren’t honest – and frankly, I think hearing about the hard shit is what helps you guys all the most.
I’ve been humming and hawing over the idea of posting an income report (maybe with my monthly check-ins that I just implemented) buuuut I don’t want to do it just because everyone else is doing it because it takes the novelty out of it. John is already doing it… I don’t want to copy-cat since we are in similar niches. Maybe in the future if the demand is there, though 🙂

Thank YOU for bringing such awesome goodness to the show and being such a great interviewee! Virtual hugs =)
