anything you want… Just maybe not everything. Before starting Unsettle, I was a personal finance blogger. And one of the bloggers I was familiar with throughout that was Affordanything.com. This is one of the few blogs I read to this day, so I had to invite the blogger behind the blog, Paula, to be a guest on the show. In 2005, Paula graduated and got a job. She was driven to travel, though she couldn’t afford it, and was working diligently to save. She saved 15% of her salary for retirement, lived on the rest and on the weekends would freelance. Every dime, for three years, went into her travel savings. At that point, she quit her job, bought her first one way ticket to Cairo, and her life really began. “You don’t need to be wealthy to do things, you need to be strategic.” – Paula

In This Episode You'll Learn:

  • How you can afford anything you want (but maybe not everything)
  • How you can leverage real estate as investment to finance a lifestyle to die for
  • How to hire for your lifestyle business so you can travel
  • How to travel the world… even if you're in a relationship

I hope you enjoyed this podcast and listening to Paula. Please visit her at affordanything.com. She is super inspired and writes one of the few blogs I read religiously.
